Getting my eye sight back fast.

Getting my eyes sight back fast page is under construction. This article was posted here on the 01/10/2021 and will recieve an update in due course.

Here being 54 years old at the time of this writing, born in August 1967 and seeing a steady decline in my eyesight with small intermittent temporary improvements over time tell me that my eyes are responding with improvements or increased blurring perhaps to something in my environment, either my vitamins or stress or sleep or drinking too much etc. I do not smoke and do exercise most days and fast everyday till at least after 2pm and often last out till after 5pm for on average six days a week until and most days I produce ketones. Also since I follow a mostly carb free diet and high fat diet that being mostly olive oil and fish or meat fat and veg seems to put me firmly into the keto diet category.

I have been following the famous 1920s' pioneer ophthalmologist William Horatio Bates exercise program as best I can and it does help. Sleeping in complete darkness also seems to improve both sleep and my eyes relaxing and getting proper rest. Although in none of his books or any of his followers books do they seem to acknowledge or try vitamin intervention or even acknowledge that diabetes may play a role in deteriorating eye sight. Although it must be said there probably was not much need back then. Saying that pellagra (a vitamin b3 deficiency disease) was beginning to surface. Dr Hoffer here has found startling results albeit with It should not be forgotten that nicotinamide is much cheaper than NAD and is its precursor.

I have been following a high vitamin c supplementation regime for 8 months. 3 to 6 grams a day. Along with 1g of B1,B3,choline and less of b2,b12,b6,b9,b5 and some minerals like zinc, boron, magnesium, manganese, selenium, calcium. Despite this my eyesight still did not show any real improvement. In fact when I started a mildly stressful job, my eyesight got worse for the 3 month period I was there. So I knew something was a miss.

What was missing? I guessed it might be ALA (Alpha lipoic acid), because of its ability to deal with sugar metabolism and I guessed that niacin flush might be playing a role too, which I took for a short while before, but have now continued partly due to the article about the mice, and I am about to include quercetin, this is because I was showing pre diabetes with readings as high as 7 mmols after drinking that is 120 deci litres, but if I did not drink alcohol the levels would drop to 6 mmols or 110 dl. The goal would be to have fasting blood sugar levels (a reading within the first hour of rising from your sleep), of 5 mmols or 100 dl, because this is more normal and shows either that your pancreas is working or that your cells are responding to the insulin being produced. These results are from three years ago. Although I have mostly arrested the sugar thing, because of the keto thing, and I trust on this who said if you produce ketones for two years you will have fixed your heart disease and if Jason Fung is also correct in my opinion who said if you do eventually than that takes care of that. My problem as already mentioned is my slow deterioration of my eyesight despite taking all those supplements listed. Maybe all that was missing was the niacin flush, but I am going to assume it still has a sugar/blood pressure component and take ALA (alpha lipoic acid) and quercetin too. So hopefully in a short while the next update will be positive.

After finishing a book by it seems that there are these proteins called sirtuins. These are an epigenetic component of the larger epigenetic story that is methylation. It seems these sirtuins have mechanism designed into their evolution that makes them able to help with reproduction and help with DNA repair, but as we get older or as we are put under stress it seems they can move around and do different jobs according to our age or what kind of stress we are under. Therefore, since both their jobs seems quite good, any boost in their activity might result in more DNA repair and a more vital outcome all round. There are hundreds of untested sirtuin precursors out there, but some have filtered their way down to the market place already. NMN (Nicotinamide mononucleotide) and NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) are two examples. Similarly out of his and others research it seems that mixing resveratrol with vitamin c seems to have an over whelming benefit too, putting us up with the benefits of the Mediterranean diet in a pill.
